About Me

My name is Natalie Elizabeth Markall and I'm based in the Surrey and Hampshire area.

I am currently a student studying my 3rd year of Media Prodcution at the University of Winchester creating short Drama's, Documentaries and pieces of Photography.

I knew I wanted to study Media Prouduction further, after enjoying studying Media and Photography for my A Levals at Farnborough 6th Form College. Back then, I was influenced by Surrealist, and Fashion Photographer David LaChappelle.

However, my interests changed over the first 2 years of University. From looking at Photographers such as Martin Parr and Jeff Ascough I was inspired by the documentary style of photography. Therefore, for my Final Year Project I am starting my own Wedding and Christening Photography company, specialising in this photojournalist style. I'll be working closely with my customers to help create those extra special memories.The reason behind choosing this type of photography is that I enjoy working with the public and I find it easy to get along with people of all ages. I feel that approaching the subject in a documentary style will show the event as natural as possible.
